What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Use multiple monitors on Windows 8. 2. Change to desktop 2. 3. Secondary taskbar is gone. What is the expected output? What do you see instead? The secondary taskbar should appear on all desktops. This was an easy one to fix. Just had to add the secondary taskbar to the list of items on all desktops. Just in case anyone was wondering, the class for the taskbar is “Shell_SecondaryTrayWnd”.
This issue prevents enterprise-level installation, for prospective users in many companies that operate corporate firewalls with virus/spyware blocking. Would it be possible to offer an OpenCandy-free installer, please? Possibly as an alternative to the mainline one?To fix this situation, I have setup http://getmdesktop.com to serve a version of mDesktop excluding OpenCandy if you pay anything at all. I think this is an acceptable solution since you are using mDesktop in a commercial environment!
I hope I’m not being unreasonable.
Thanks for a great app! It would be awesome if a window that you're currently dragging (i.
e. moving around by keeping the mouse pressed) would follow to
your chosen screen if you use Alt-#. Mac OS X does this which is
really handy.Took care of this one pretty quickly as soon as I got myself re-acquainted with the mDesktop source code.
Starting tomorrow, I will attempt to fix a bug a day. I’ve kinda neglected the project over the past 2 years because of the lack of money it brings in. But I’ve setup a new site (http://getmdesktop.com) to try and fix that.
Hopefully in a couple of weeks we’ll have a new clean version!
Ubuntu knows what’s up! I need to try this, the multitasking looks amazing. (as long as I can 50/50 split.)

I’m constantly thinking about this. Tim Cook said in a recent interview that they have “intense interest” in TV. They have to be working on this.
